We are happy to announce that Green Sequest has joined CEEZER Carbon Coalition, an initiative dedicated to propelling early-stage carbon removal project developers toward commercial success in the voluntary carbon market. Shout out to CEEZER for their efforts in supporting CDR developers.

It’s great to see another Enhanced Rock Weathering company – InPlanet – in the Coalition.

Why is this initiative so important?
➡ Limited high-quality supply: There is a growing demand for high-quality credits generated from removals, but the availability is limited. We need to work together to fill this gap.

➡ Difficulties for early-stage developers in scaling-up: New projects face big challenges when they try to expand. To succeed, they require the means to reach customers and get and contracting support.

➡ Making sure there’s enough supply in the future: More and more companies are looking for high quality carbon credits. Carbon Coalition helps new projects connect with large network of buyers, so they can get the amounts they need to be more sustainable.
