Green Sequest completed remove, first European accelerator program focused solely on CDR

In September 2022 Green Sequest became a part of remove, Europe’s only accelerator program exclusively dedicated to supporting Carbon Dioxide Removal startups. This month we’ve had our last accelerator session marking the end 9-month program.

Being a part of remove has been an incredible journey, propelling us forward in our mission. During this two-stage accelerator program, we had the privilege of connecting with visionary founders, CDR domain experts, and impactful ecosystem stakeholders. Through remove, we received invaluable guidance, mentorship, and access to a network of people who share our passion for carbon dioxide removal.

We are grateful to the remove team for their unwavering support and commitment to nurturing CDR startups. Big shout out to Hans Westerhof, Marian Krüger, Cintia Sipos and Joachim Blazer! Your dedication and expertise have been instrumental in equipping us with the tools to overcome challenges in the CDR space.

We want to thank all the experts who shared with us their knowledge, experience and perspectives on carbon removal market and increased confidence in our solution. Thank you Robert Höglund (Marginal Carbon), Joanna Klitzke and Scott Litzelman (Stripe Climate), policy expert Eve Tamme (Climate Principles), Benno Fuchs and Roosa Räisänen (Puro.earth), Tom Spencer (Swiss Re), Christian Bauer (Paul Scherrer Institut PSI) and Wouter Chömpff (BrandBuilding.com)

We are keeping our fingers crossed for fellow startups: Carbon Atlantis, Cool, MORFO, Nellie Technologies, PRONOE, Airbus Sinc and Sinkco Labs.

As we embark on the next phase of our journey, we are excited to leverage the connections and opportunities that the remove program has opened up for us. We don’t see it as an end, but as a new beginning.
