In cooperation with Łukasiewicz – Institute of Ceramics and Building Materials, we are developing new formulations of cement adhesives incorporating our antigorite.

Our objective is to reduce the cement content in these formulations while maintaining, or even enhancing, their technical performance.

Initial research results are highly promising and demonstrate that it is possible to create solutions delivering both financial and environmental benefits.

Why is our focus on reducing cement?

• Cement represents one of the major cost components in construction products, and its rising prices have a growing impact on profitability.
• The production of cement generates approximately 800 kg of CO₂ per ton, making it a significant contributor to the carbon footprint.
• Price volatility complicates stable planning and long-term cost forecasting.

For these reasons, we believe that reducing the share of cement in formulations—while meeting the required technical standards—can provide a genuine competitive advantage under current market conditions.
